Making the Most of Twitter

Twitter, for all of its issues, remains a dynamic global public square connecting scientists, journalists, the public and policy makers. In an initial workshop followed by several open office-hours sessions, longtime journalist and Columbia Climate School communication evangelist Andy Revkin (@revkin on Twitter) will guide you through half a dozen ways to make the most of this platform. He'll include a couple of live exercises and will provide resources and case studies showing how Twitter not only can advance your ability to connect your work with the public, but can advance your research, as well. Before the session, you can get a jump start by reading Andy’s recent column “Enough About Elon – Here’s How You Can Own Twitter”.
