Skill Seminar: Building Emotional Resilience in the Climate Crisis

November 12, 2022
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
America/New_York
Online Event

Instructor: Wendy Greenspun, Ph.D. - Climate Psychologist

For those in the climate and environmental fields, the realities of the climate crisis can elicit understandable forms of climate distress like eco-anxiety or grief or conversely, forms of emotional numbing or desensitization, and burnout. In this skills seminar, we will discuss the useful aspects of difficult emotions, ways to transform those emotions into meaning and purpose, and foster ongoing capacities for “emotional sustainability” and resilience.
