Please join the Undergraduate Program in Sustainable Development for its annual Alumni Career Conversations panel! This event offers an invaluable opportunity for current undergraduate and graduate students interested in sustainability to connect with Columbia University alumni and gain insights into various sectors and projects within the field firsthand. Lunch provided. 

Meet our panelists:

Chelsea Jean-Michel is an Associate on the Wind Team at BloombergNEF, a strategic research provider covering global commodity markets and the disruptive technologies driving the transition to a low-carbon economy. She leads BloombergNEF's global offshore wind coverage, providing insights into installations, auctions, policy and costs. Prior to her role at BNEF, Chelsea worked as a consultant for energy utilities. She holds a BA in Sustainable Development and French & Francophone Studies from Columbia University.

Autumn Moore is an associate on KPMG’s Climate Data and Technology team. She uses data and technology to support her clients in accomplishing their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

Lauren Ritchie is a climate justice advocate and storyteller from The Bahamas. She has organized coastal clean-ups, environmental demonstrations, and creative educational workshops, on her island, Grand Bahama. She graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Sustainable Development where she created the panel series, Columbia Climate Conversations, to bring activists and scientists of color to speak on intersectional environmental issues. She founded The Eco Justice Project, a digital publication and resource hub dedicated to creatively sharing the stories of underrepresented communities. She produced a short film and led a summer camp in The Bahamas engaging adolescent girls through photography, poetry, art, and film, to give voice to their experience of a changing island environment. She has spoken at various universities and conferences including UN Water, Middle East and North Africa Climate Week, and EU-Latin America Caribbean Foundation seminars in Prague, Mexico, and Colombia. Her writing has appeared in The Malala Fund Assembly, Adolescent Content, Brown Girl Green, and Youth to the People, and her work has been featured by Vogue España, Refinery29, Global Citizen, The Oxygen Project, AJ+ Español, and The Michelle Obama Foundation.
