In an era marked by escalating climate change, what health effects are children now experiencing and what risks are they likely to encounter in the future? Children are uniquely vulnerable to the impact of climate change and related pollution, with lifelong consequences on physical and mental health, development and wellbeing. There is an abundance of evidence about increased risk to children due to increasing temperatures and extreme weather, rising sea levels, intensifying wildfire seasons, and air pollution. Our expert panelists will review communication strategies and successful clinical and policy interventions to mitigate harm to children now and in the future.
