Leadership Education & Development

The Office of Research's Leadership Education & Development (LEAD) program delivers workshops, training events, lectures, and consultation services to mold the next-generation of researcher-leaders. With a special focus on nurturing community interconnectivity, LEAD trains researchers in project management, non-academic and interpersonal communications, team mentoring, and comprehensive research strategy.

With questions, please contact [email protected].

Events are free and open to the entire Columbia Climate School community.

You can find an archive of past LEAD events here

Everyone at the Climate School is welcome to attend LEAD events! This includes, but is not limited to, undergraduate and graduate students, post docs, ARS, research scientists/staff, faculty, LARP/LRPs, administrative leadership and staff.

LEAD workshops and events will be recorded and distributed on a case by case basis. Depending on the permissions we receive from the speaker, the sessions will either be distributed directly to registrants or posted to YouTube.

That's wonderful! We welcome all ideas and feedback. Please reach out to Natalie Trotta ([email protected]).
