Greenland is Rising? Climate Change is the cause!

The Greenland Rising curriculum came out of a science research partnership between Greenlandic institutional partners, Greenland community members and U.S. researchers working together to develop predictions of future sea level change around Greenland. The investigations focused on how sea level would change in three West Greenland communities and how the people in those communities would be affected,  

A key part of this work was developing education resources for the local schools in Greenland around the science of climate change, how we measure the changes, and what the effects of climate change are and will be on the local communities as well as developing predictions for sea level change in these communities for 2050 and 2100.  The education resources were developed for Middle School and High School science classes and are useful for students in the US as well a Greenland.
