This annual event features CU graduate students presenting their STEM research, a panel discussion, a keynote address, and networking
About this Event
The WISC Graduate Research Symposium offers an opportunity for Columbia graduate students to present their research in front of a friendly audience with a wide range of perspectives. The symposium will feature a keynote speech, a panel discussion from professionals with careers spanning academia and industry, student presentations in the form of talks and posters, as well as a sponsor networking session! This year's theme is Bridging Career Divides, and will focus on distinguishing the best ways for STEM students to engage in a variety of career pathways.
Symposium Networking Event - This will be a 1 hour event where Columbia students (undergraduate and graduate students) will be able to meet casually with symposium sponsors. Sponsors for the symposium span a range of STEM careers. This will be an opportunity for students to share their CV/Resume if they wish, to gain diverse contacts, and to explore potential career paths. There is a limited number of spots for this virtual event on Zoom and Gather.town. Students who sign-up and attend this event will be entered into a raffle to win an Amazon gift card.
All identities are welcome to attend and present. Women and underrepresented minorities are highly encouraged.
