Can, and Should, Fossil Fuel Companies be Obligated to Take Back Their CO2?

 

Given there's no way to stem fossil fuel greenhouse gas emissions quickly enough to avert dangerous climate change, one proposed strategy is to create an obligation for fossil fuel industries to take back CO2 emissions commensurate with their production.
