About this Event

Presenters: Vicki Ferrini, Senior Research Scientist, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory; Michael Kaplan, Lamont Research Professor, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory; Kirsty Tinto, Associate Research Scientist, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory; Jonny Kingslake, Assistant Professor, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences

Target Audience: Grades 2-5

Our scientists travel to faraway places for research and fieldwork. Join us for this fun session to learn about what our researchers eat on land and in the middle of the ocean, and how they have to conserve everything they’ve packed. We’ll hear about innovative techniques for getting food and water, and unique recipes that you can also try at home!

A link to join the session will be provided to all registered participants 24 hours in advance.

If you would like to submit any questions before the event, please send them to Cassie Xu ([email protected]).
