America/New_York
The Forum at Columbia University, 601 W. 125th St., New York, NY 10027 Room 229

The Food for Humanity Initiative at Columbia Climate School connects Columbia's climate science expertise with food systems research, education, and partnership — addressing the interconnected challenges of food security, environmental sustainability, and climate resilience.

Join us on April 15th (*note: new time 1PM), to hear from Ora Kemp, Senior Policy Advisor, NYC Mayor’s Office of Food Policy, Castanea Fellow, on how New York City is leveraging Food Forward—NYC’s 10-year food policy plan—and the NYC Food and Climate Strategy to build a more sustainable, circular, and collaborative food system for its 8 million residents and surrounding communities.
