The impact venture incubator course [B8527] will be taught on Wednesdays from 5:40 to 8:55 p.m., Term B of the spring 2022 semester by adjunct professor Joy Fairbanks ’94.

The course fosters cross-campus access and collaboration to leverage Columbia talent and resources to build teams, access any necessary technology, advance ventures, and gain investor interest. Suitable impact ventures include but are not limited to health and wellness, climate impact, environmental sustainability, education, future of work, foodtech, fintech, insurtech, journalism/new media, human rights/social issues, economic or digital inclusivity, etc.
