*SPECIAL* Today is the DEC organized Great Hudson River Fish Count! We will be catching fish and conducting water chemistry to gain a better understanding of the Hudson River Estuary during one day in the summer.
We believe that science is best taught outdoors in the natural environment! Science Saturdays are FREE family-friendly organized programs that are aimed to engage and educate about our beautiful and unique environment.
Science Saturday is held seasonally from June 18th 2022- September 3rd 2022 from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM so come join us! We are located at the end of Piermont Pier. Most days, you can find us under the white tent on the northern side of the pier. Some programmed activities include:
- Seining and fish identification
- Water chemistry
- Hudson River Puzzle
- Hudson Based Games
- And more!
