Hudson River Field Station

The Field Station is Lamont's community hub for Hudson River education. We offer drop in Science Saturday events, high school internships, teacher professional opportunities, school and group field trips and open hours that are all designed to bring field based science to the public. Climate is central to our research and we share this through our programming and our exhibits. Covered topics include local sea level rise, the Piermont Marsh and its climate connections, the changing ecosystem, monitoring the river, the glacial history of the Hudson and more.
