COP30, the 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference, marks a pivotal opportunity to drive meaningful climate action on a global scale. From November 10–21 in Belém, Pará, Brazil, delegates from over 190 countries including heads of state, business leaders, academics, and civil society will gather to advance efforts on climate finance, emissions reduction, and adaptation. Once again, we are playing an active role, with experts, students, and global thought leaders from Columbia Climate School and across Columbia University contributing to key events, sharing insights, and helping shape the dialogue toward ambitious, science-based solutions.
